A lady of the night...?!

Hi guys and girlies,
Wow doesn't time fly when you have new crafting goodies to play with, I don't think I have had a night without copic stains on my fingers for the last couple of weeks.
I feel I ought to explain this card a little, the stamp made me think of my friends when we were younger.
I come from Norwich and there is a fab little cobbled area next to the Cathedral called Tombland that has some pubs and restaurants, in the summer there was a fab pub that used to put tables and chairs outside, so the plan was to recreate that memory of sitting outside having a drink on a sunny evening.
However when I finished I thought she looked a bit like a lady sitting outside in Amsterdam if you know what I mean......!
I got the idea for the pop up from the latest magnolia mag and got carried away and did both sides. I will blog the other side in a scheduled post later.
I should warn you a huge list of goodies on this one I got very carried away with my masking !
So here she is

I made the border along the front of the card out of a Heart swirl branch joined together
I also used Cheery Lynn Anastasia border and Cheery Lynn Lace corner
The copics I used are
Browns: E44, E43, E42, E41, E40
Pinks:RV95, RV34, RV32, RV10, RV00, RV000
Greens: G00, G000
Yellows:Y000, Y0000
Skin: E02, E00, E000, E0000 and R20 for blush

Well that's it for this side of the card I hope you like it

War and Peace

Hello fellow groovers,
Well I am finally ready to show the project that has taken up most of my time over the last few weeks.
My little sister turned 40 on the 16th of March, and I have been working on a little project for her birthday.
I got the idea from Debbie Dolphin she made a travel wallet to go with a suitcase she made, in an edition of the magnolia mag last year(sorry I cant find the project on her blog).
My sister is the wandering spirit in my family and went travelling years ago, Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, India to name a few, so I took Debbie's idea and changed it into a passport.
I made it more a passport of her life and travels (I guess almost like this is your life for those of you who can remember that program)
It has little tags that pull down and reveal little messages, but I forgot to photograph those open, the final tag that pulled down revealed a little pocket with money in.
For years one of her dreams has been to go to Borneo and work with the Orangutan's, and for this special birthday her fella booked the holiday, how awesome is that!
So sorry for war and peace but the title should have warned you :) I will add the messages under the photos, Tracy was always the one to try new things, dance and horse riding well you will get the picture!

We used to go swimming at the weekends
When Tracey used to have dancing lessons
When she used to go horse riding
When mum and dad used to take us sailing
You went travelling starting with Australia
Then Thailand......
Then India....
And now you are off to see the Rangas(Tracy's nickname for orangutans)
Happy 40th Tracy :)
All the products come from Sirstampalot except the wooden buttons that come from Button it
Right I need to go lay down after that and I hope you aren't asleep already :)
Hope you like it.
Hugs
Mandy
